Steve Fielding
Steve plays Bass and sings Backing Vocals in Glam45.
Born in Bolton, Lancashire, Steve Fielding became a professional musician in the early
1980's, he has toured the UK and Europe on numerous occasions over the last 30 years, most notably
with 70's punk rock legends The Boys,
and glam rock pioneers John Rossall & The Glitterband.
During the late 80's he was a member of
The Stiffs, touring extensively across Europe and Asia and after several spells in the early 1990's
touring across Great Britain with
an Elvis Presley stage show, he formed The Lost Boys in 1992, playing close on a thousand gigs
across the northwest.
He has also gigged with punk bands Love Battery and Complete Control and
worked on a variety of live and studio
sessions playing everything from heavy rock to country and blues.
Besides music, he is the author of over twenty true crime books and has been a regular contributor
to crime magazines such as True Detective, The Criminologist, True Crime and Master Detective. He
has also appeared on numerous TV programmes relating to
crime and capital punishment including The One Show, Most Haunted, Fred Dineage's Murder Casebook
etc etc.
When not writing or touring he teaches freelance at a local college.
